As it's solar powered no mains wiring is required and because it uses energy from the sun it costs nothing to run. During
the day the exterior mounted high quality solar panel converts daylight into electricity and recharges the AA Ni-Mh batteries within the light.
Using the pull cord the light can be turned on and off as required and at full charge the light will stay illuminated for
1.5 hours giving a bright white light.
Running time is dependent on the panels exposure to the sun and will vary with the seasons, longer in Spring and Summer, shorter
in Autumn and Winter. For maximum running time the solar panel should be positioned in full sun away from cover of shade.
